Privacy Policy

This page explains what personal data statementsummary.co.uk collects, why, who it is shared with, and your rights under UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.

1. Who we are

statementsummary.co.uk is run by the same operator as usebankcsv.co.uk, who is the data controller. Contact: privacy@usebankcsv.co.uk. Our postal address is available on request at that address.

2. What this site does today

The service described on this site is not available yet. At the moment the site only collects email addresses for a waitlist. It does not accept or process bank statements or any other documents.

3. What we collect and why

• Your email address, if you join the waitlist. We use it to email you once when the service launches. The legal basis is your consent, which you give by submitting the form.
• Which advert or keyword brought you here (from the web address you arrived on), saved with your sign-up, so we can see which advertising works. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in measuring our own advertising.
• The date and time of your sign-up.

We do not sell your data, and we do not send newsletters.

4. How long we keep it

Until we have emailed you about the launch, or you ask us to delete it, and in any case no longer than 12 months after you sign up.

5. Who it is shared with

• Supabase, which hosts our database, as our data processor.
• Vercel, which hosts the website and provides cookieless visit counts.
• Google, only if you accept advertising cookies in the cookie banner, to measure whether an advert led to a sign-up. If you decline, no advertising cookies are set.

6. Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete your data, to object to our use of it, or to withdraw your consent at any time, by emailing privacy@usebankcsv.co.uk. If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).

7. Cookies

We set no advertising cookies unless you accept them. You can change your choice at any time: Cookie settings.
